North East of No 6)
GV II
Dovecote. Early C17; early C19 alterations. Random rubble
limestone; stone slate roof. Square. Roll moulded parapet
gable, formerly with finial, to each side; stepped bedding to
coping. Central gabled timber lantern. Stone slates project
between lower ends of gables throwing off rainwater. Doorway with
chamfered opening on south east side with plank door; round arched
fixed-light in gable apex above. Interior not inspected
Associated with a house called The Greys, renamed The Pines (q.v.)
upon demolition of main part of building.
