SIDDINGTON - SU 09 NW 8/166 Furzen Leaze Farmhouse
GV II Farmhouse. Mid/late C18, refronted probably early C19. Coursed and dressed rubble stone with alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof, 2 low stone stacks. Single long range with 2 apparently once separate rear wings now joined by C20 linking unit, 2 storeys. Four windows, 2 or 3-light wood casements to first floor with concrete lintels. Ground floor has three 16-pane sashes with large stone lintels and flush quoins. Small gabled porch in bay 3 to right of centre with 4-panel door to rear, top 2 glazed, lower 2 flush. Small lean-to on righthand return, also with 16-pane sash with concrete lintel. Earlier rear wings with leaded wood casements and timber lintels, wing to west has half-hipped gable end.
