Formerly one large cottage, converted to two. Probably late
C16/early C17. Coursed rubble stone with flush quoins, stone slate
roof, brick end stack to right, external stone stack to left with
brick flue. Single main range of single storey and attic, with
slightly smaller later wing to right, and small C20 extension to
left not of special interest. Two steep gables to front, each with
single small stone light at top and dripmould and 2-light stone
windows below with square hoodmould but which have lost main
central mullions and have C20 insertions. Ground floor has two 3-
light, also without mullions, with relieving arches over. Central
porch with raking roof and stone wall to left only, with door to
Acre Cottage of 6 flush panels behind. Small wing to right has one
small gable with single C20 light and two C20 two-light on ground
floor. Entrance to Peach Cottage in C20 extension.
