Details
POULTON CRICKLADE STREET SP 00 SE (east side) 4/94 Southcott Cottage II Small detached cottage. Mid/late C17. Coursed rubble stone with dressed quoins, stone slate roof, renewed stone end stack to right. Single range, 2 storeys and attic, with 2-storey lean-to to left. Main part of cottage has one window, 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould on first floor, 3-light on ground floor, with small single-light on right to surviving wood newel stair. Small gabled dormer with twin wooden casement. Lean-to has small twin wooden casement with timber lintel on first floor and fully glazed C20 door with square hoodmould on ground floor.
