ANDOVERSFORD ANDOVERSFORD VILLAGE SP 01 NW 5/9 Manor Farm GV II

Detached farmhouse. Late C16 - early C17 (in two phases) and C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks with moulded skirtings. 'T'-shaped plan to main body with C19 lean-to extensions rear left and C19 lean-to porch. C20 rock- faced wall concealing C20 conservatory at gable end rear left, not of special interest. Two storeys and attic. South front; 3 bays with central gable, single light with moulded stilted-headed surround and stopped hood towards apex of gable lighting attic. Three-light wooden casements with moulded surround and stopped hoods below, similar windows either side of 6-panel door, off centre left with 4-pane hall light over, timber-clad gabled canopy above. Three-light ovolo-moulded window above. Three-light ovolo- moulded stone-mullioned window to first floor of righthand gable end, single stilted-headed light with moulded surround and stopped hood towards apex. Flat gable end coping with roll-cross saddles Interior not inspected.
