SP 10 SE HATHEROP - 5/63 South Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Dated on plaque on first floor "SR / JOHN WEBB / 1766". Coursed rubble stone with alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof with coped verges and slightly overhanging eaves, 3 end ashlar stacks with moulded cornices. Long single range, stepping down from 2 storeys plus attic to single storey and attic left of centre. Main large range to right has 3 windows, 2-light stone mullions in flush plain stone frames with three 3-light on ground floor, each light with wood casement. Two small gabled dormers with twin wooden casements. Smaller range to left has single central gable with 4-light similar stone mullion and 4-light below on ground floor with entrance to right, left of centre of whole range, with projecting gabled stone porch probably of early C20 with double timber doors.
