Details
GUITING POWER CHURCH ROAD SP 0924 (east side) 11/90 Pair of unidentified monuments in the churchyard of Church of St. Michael c8m south of chancel GV II Pair of unidentified chest tombs. Date and initials W.H/1777 at east end of left-hand tomb, H.H/1787 at east end of riaht-hand tomb. North side of former comprises probably unused inscription tablet flanked by uprights with cherub and rosette motifs. South side similar but with upright with flower motif to right-hand margin missing. Face of winged cherub with foliate motif below at west end flanked by quarter balusters. Similar quarter balusters at east end flanking inset inscription. Right-hand tomb similar but with partially legible inscription on north side flanked by uprights with cherub faces and scroll motifs. Stone at west end depicting winged cherub.
