Detached accommodation block, now flats with 'tent room', attached far right. Tent room 1800 -1805. Flats mid C19. Ashlar limestone, slate roof.

Rectangular plan breaking forward at centre, octagonal tent room far right. Engaged octagonal columns at corners of central projection extended up above roof level. Main body two storeys stepped down on right with single storey 'tent room' attached far right. Irregular fenestration. Windows to first floor of main body mostly eight-pane sashes flanked by tall four-pane sashes with curved hoods supported by paired octagonal columns standing on semi-circular bases, over central windows. Glazed double doors to balcony right. Tent room breaks forward far right. Engaged octagonal columns at corners extended up above roof level. Central glazed entrance with pointed and cusped light with radiating glazing bars at top of cast-iron open work steps up to entrance with models of Brahmin bulls at base. Cast iron grill in front of doors. Octagonal pyramidal roof with central open-sided octagonal minaret with stone dome and pointed finial. Hipped roof to main body with two axial stacks and right gable end stack. Tent room, originally Sir Charles Cockerell's bedroom, was formerly linked to the house via a curved passage fronted by iron trellis work.
