ASHLEY ASHLEY VILLAGE ST 99 SW 8/7 North Farmhouse GV II

Farmhouse. Mid/late C18 with additions of C19. Coursed and dressed stone, alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof; stone end stack with moulded cornice to right, rendered brick to left end, stone stacks to rear ranges. L-plan of 2 storeys and attic, with small 2-storey wing to rear on right, forming U shape. Three windows, 2-light chamfered stone mullions with plain casements, 2 to ground floor with central C20 glazed porch and door. Street elevation on left hand return has one similar window to attic, and 12-pane sashes to rear wing with plain walls of later outbuilding adjoining on far end. Outbuilding has 2 cambered head shuttered openings to rear gable end and 2 plank doors and 2 casement windows on inner face. House has central rear gable to main range and scattered fenestration to rear elevations.
