Detached farmhouse. Late C17 - early C18, C19 and C20. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar and C20
artificial stone stacks. Rectangular main body with stairs
projection at rear, C19 extension rear left, 2-storey C20 extension
onto right gable-end of main body. Single storey extension
attached right. C20 flat-roofed single storey extension at rear
not of special interest. Main body, 2 storeys and attic lit by two
2-light gabled roof dormers with horizontal glazing bars. 5-
windowed facade all 2 and 3-light double-chamfered, stone-mullioned
casements with leaded panes, stopped hoods over ground floor
windows. Left-hand bay lit by 2 and 3-light metal casements in
segmental-headed surrounds. Former doorway (now blocked) towards
left end. Blocked doorway with flat-chamfered surround imposts,
keystone and stopped hood towards right-hand end. Present access
via C19 extension at rear and C20 extension to right gable-end.
Five 'S' tie plates. Twin axial ashlar stack with moulded
capping, gable-end and axial stacks. Interior not inspected.
