Pair of chest combs. That nearest porch unidentified probably C16,
that lm south to John Chadwell (q.v. The Manor House) with
partially legible inscription includes date 1577. Limestone. Both
tombs on same footing, moulded plinths, thick capping stones with
moulded margins. John Chadwell tomb, 2 courses in depth,
unidentified tomb 1 course in depth. The latter is identical with
that on opposite side of path. A pair of tombs of unusually early
date.
