Monument to Warren Hastings (q.v. Daylesford House) died 1818. Coadestone. Square plinth inset at corners. Projecting band with Vitruvian scroll decoration in relief around upper margin. Large urn above with raised plaque in south side with inscription / WARREN HASTINGS /. Band of foliate decoration in relief around top of urn. Monument surrounded by cast iron railing. Unusually fine example of use of Coadestone.
