Pair of semi-detached cottages. C19. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks, one replaced C20.
Rectangular main body with contemporary extensions at right-angles
at rear. 1½ storey facade with 3 half dormers lighting first
floor. Central dormer with 2 single-light metal casements, dormers
right and left with 2-light stone-mullioned casements. Most
casements with horizontal glazing bars a few retaining probably
original glazing bars. Access via C20 glazed door in gable end and
via similar glazed or part-glazed doors to extensions at rear.
Gable end stacks. Interiors not inspected. A relatively unaltered
example of a late Cotswold-style house type in prominent position
in village landscape.
