HAZLETON HAZLETON VILLAGE SP 01 NE 5/45 Six unidentified monuments in the churchyard of the Church of St. Andrew 4-8m west of tower GV II Row of 5 headstones and one chest tomb immediately west of tower. Headstones late C17-mid C18. Chest tomb late C18. a) Headstones c4m west of tower; inscriptions (now illegible) with scrollwork surrounds and winged cherubs' heads at top. b) Chest tomb c2.5m west of headstones; inscriptions on sides and at ends no longer legible. Moulded plinth. Quadrant corners containing scallop shell motifs to inscription panels on sides. Fluted decoration either side. Capping with moulded margin and stepped pyramidal capping.
