to Dudley Farm) and 38 Ampney Crucis

Two adjoining houses, part of No 38 originally having been part of
No 37. No 37 and part No 38 of mid/late C17, cross wing to No 38
of mid C19. Mostly random coursed rubble stone except for coursed
stone C19 wing, stone slate roof, large low cruciform stone ridge
stack to No 37, brick end stack to C19 wing of No 38. Originally
single range with central rear projection, with cross wing added to
left. No 37 of 2 storeys with 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion
with square hoodmould and iron casements to each floor. Newel
stair on south side of stack. No 38 of single storey and attic
with gabled dormer with C20 two-light window and 2-light casement
with timber lintel to room below which has chamfered beam and
shares large stone stack on No 37. Door and 2-light casement on
inner face of C19 wing.
