Details
SOUTH CERNEY CLARK'S HAY SU 0497-0597 (east side) 14/240 The Old George II Inn. Probably core of C17, extended to rear in C18. Painted rubble stone, stone slate roof, one renewed stone end stack, one part external stone stack with rendered flue. Large main section of 2 storeys with projecting lower and older wings to front and right, latter with gable to front. Scattered fenestration, mainly 3-light casements of C19 with timber lintels. Large rear wing on main section, with concrete tile roof but original wind-braced roof structure visible inside. Front section retains several original beams.
