Former farmhouse, once used as a post office. C17 with minor probably C18-C19 and C20 extensions. Limestone rubble; stone slate roof; stack restored C20 with dressed stone quoins. Rectangular main body with stairs projection and possible former chimney projection on the north (C20 extensions inserted between the latter). C18-C19 extensions to the west gable end. Main body: 2 storeys and attic with 1 1/2 and single-storey extensions. North front: gabled 2 1/2 storey stairs projection off-centre left. Similar gabled projection, far right. Small C20 single-light and 2-light casements with glazing bars to main body. Large 3-light wooden casements to the extension to right; 2-light hipped roof dormer to the upper floor. South front with gablet upper right: two large 3-light casements to the ground floor; one 2-light and two 3-light casements to the first floor; 2-light casement to the gablet. All casements to main body with horizontal glazing bars. Blocked doorway lower left. Two and 3-light C20 casements with glazing bars to the successive extensions to the left gable end; single 2-light hipped roof dormer. Gable-end stack. Interior: beams with deep flat chamfers and runout stops. Stone spiral staircase within the stairs projection.
