GV II

Detached cottage. Late c17-mid C18 with later extensions.
Limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof;
stacks restored C20 with dressed stone quoins. Rectangular plan
to main body with later extensions to either gable end; small
stable block adjoining the rear left-hand corner. Main body: 2
storeys with 2-storey extension set back at the left gable end with
a C20 single-storey lean-to at the front; gable end of stable to
the left; single-storey wash house extension to the right gable
end of the main body. Two-windowed facade lit by 2-light double-
chamfered stone-mullioned casements to the house; 2-light wooden
casement upper left. C20 part-glazed door with glazing bars off-
centre left. Similar door and a C20 three-light stone-mullioned
casement to the lean-to extension to the left; C20 stone-mullioned
casement to the first floor. Stone steps up gable end of stable
block with a part-glazed C20 door giving access to loft. Gable-
end stack and roll-cross saddle to main body. Gable-end stack to
wash house. Interior not inspected.
