CHEDWORTH CHURCH ROW SP 0512 10/73 No 3 (formerly listed as Cottage 23.1.52 occupied by W. Parrot)

GV II

Cottage in row (mirror image of and one build with No 2, q.v.). Mid C17-early C18. Limestone rubble formerly painted cream; stone slate roof; stack restored C20 with dressed stone quoins. Rectangular plan. Two storeys and attic with 2-windowed facade lit by 2 and 3-light flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with horizontal glazing bars and early fastenings. String between floors. Single 2-light hipped slate-hung roof dormer. Central C20 part-glazed door within a beaded dressed stone surround within an early C20 segmental-headed porch with decorative fretwork sides supported on brick side walls. Gable-end stack. Interior not inspected.
