Cottage at the end of a row. Mid C17, altered and partially
rebuilt C19. Coursed squared and dressed orange and cream-
coloured limestone, dressed stone quoins. Concrete tile roof,
brick stack. Rectangular plan. 1½ storeys. Two C20 two-light
dormers with metal casements to the upper floor at the rear of the
house. Two-light garret window in the gable end. Two-windowed
entrance front; 3-light C19 metal casement within a segmental-
headed surround to the right. Three-light hollow-chamfered stone-
mullioned casement with a stopped hood to the left. All windows
with horizontal glazing bars. C19 four-panelled door within
moulded dressed stone surround with a stopped hood to the left.
Axial stack.
Interior; open fireplace with bressumer beam. This building
occupies a particularly prominent position at the centre of the
village on a corner.
