Details

GREAT RISSINGTON GREAT RISSINGTON VILLAGE SP 1917-2017 9/134 Clements Farmhouse GV II Detached house. Late C18-early C19 in two phases. Right-hand part; coursed squared and dressed limestone. Left-hand part limestone rubble. Stone slate roofing at front, concrete tile to one extenson at the rear with ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with two later extensions at right angles rear right. C20 single-storey flat-roofed extension to the right gable end, not of special interest. Two storeys, 3-windowed facade. Two-light casements to the first floor. Stopped hood over far left; all first floor windows with leaded panes. One 2 and one 3-light wooden casement to the ground floor, both with timber lintels. C20 canted bay without glazing bars lower left. C19 door with 6 flush panels off- centre left, flat canopy supported on moulded stone brackets. Double-chamfered stone surround formerly to a 2-light stone- mullioned casement (now with the mullion removed) lighting the main body rear right. Gable-end stacks with moulded cappings and skirtings.
