Detached house and attached wall to walled garden in former grounds to Sherborne House (q.v.). House, late C18-early C19 with later C19 extension. Wall early C19. House; coursed squared and dressed limestone with ashlar facade. Concrete tile roof and ashlar stacks. Wall coursed squared and dressed limestone one side, Flemish bond brick the other. Rose Cottage; rectangular plan with later extension to left. Symmetrical, 2-storey, 3- windowed facade to Rose Cottage. Paired 8-pane sashes within moulded architraves. Band between floors. Central 6-panel door with hall-light with geometric glazing bars. Flat hood with moulded margin on moulded stone brackets. Two-storey extension to left. Two-light stone-mullioned casement in gable end. Stacks with moulded cappings at gable ends of main body. Rear wall of house forms part of the southern boundary of a large almost rectangular walled garden cl00m by 80m. The Bothy (q.v.) forms part of the northern boundary, similarly part of the eastern boundary forms the rear wall to an open-fronted store (q.v.). Wall to garden up to 5m in height with flat capping.
