Boundary wall. Probably early C19, later coping. Thin-bedded
coursed limestone with rounded capping in cement for most of its
length. Up to c1.5m in height. Wall forms important street
element as continuous definition of back of pavement or verge edge,
but with some breaks for gates or openings, from No 36 (The Gables
q.v.) to the end gable of No 55 (q.v.), resuming beyond the garden
wall of No 55 and returning to the lane running north opposite
Sherborne Farm, to the gable wall and outbuildings to No 62 (q.v.),
thence continuing to gable wall of outbuilding to No 64 (q.v.).
Lengths of similar walling adjoining the former forming boundaries
to the gardens of the estate cottages immediately to north (q.v.).
