Barn. Late C16. Random rubble limestone, partially roughcast rendered; stone slate roof, pantile to lean-to. Five-bay barn with lean-to at north west end. North east side: roughcast with exposed irregularly coursed quoins at left hand end; off-centre low barn doorway with C20 sliding door, slit vent to left. Projecting rubble buttress to right. South east end: parapet- gabled end with crocket finial. South west side: barn doorway with timber lintel and plank doors; flanking buttresses. North west end: high level opening with timber lintel. Open-sided lean- to with corrugated iron infill. Interior has fine 5-bay arched-braced collar-truss roof with arched windbracing to lower tier of purlins. Inserted tie-beams. Barn forms part of group with contemporary court house to north and Court Farmhouse (q.v.). (N.M. Herbert, 'King's Stanley' in V.C.H. Glos. x, 1972, pp 242- 257)
