Large dressed square limestone block in courses, roof stone slate, but some asbestos cement. A long narrow building set back from and at right angles to street running across the slope of land to give extra floor level at outer end. Long front to garden of Cotswold House (qv) has 4 long 4-light wood casements including leading, over 4 similar, but only bays 3 and 4 are aligned. Wood lintels generally, but ground floor, bay 2 has very large stone lintel; also, below this window the head of a 2-light pointed opening. Three roof lights and one dormer. Far right a plank door. Gable to road has plank door at head of steps with square landing, and a 2-light casement below pigeon openings with horizontal ledges. An eight-bay interior on 2 and 3 floors, with heavy transverse beams to first floor, and A-frame trusses with two purlins; in part the top floor is at back near the eaves to allow light to the middle floor, or as grain container. The wall construction is similar to that in part of the adjoining Cotswold House (qv, but much of the property is now occupied by the builder's yard on the south side.
