Large barn. 1780 for Thomas Tunley. Good cut squared limestone, stone slate roof. Deep porches to west and east; that to west has three rows of pigeon openings with perches, over a hipped stone slate canopy on wood brackets covering good full height pair of plank doors. To left are 2, and to right 1 long, low-set ventilation slits, and, far right, an early plank door. North gable has square loading opening over ventilation slit. Each side, deep gabled porch with good pair of doors, and, each side, 2 buttresses with 3 offsets. Nine bay interior, double purlin; 4 bays have strutted tie beams. Gables are coped, with cross-roll saddles. One of a good group of farm buildings related to Painswick Lodge (qv).
