3/369 Obelisk monument approximately 120m south of Nether Lypiatt Manor (previously listed with Nether 21.10.55 Lypiatt Manor)

Obelisk monument. Early C18. Limestone with brass plate. Square, pedestal-mounted obelisk. Pedestal stands on plain base with moulded cornice. Tall obelisk above carries the following inscription on brass plate: 'My name was Wag who rolled the green The oldest horse that ever was seen My years they numbered forty-two I served my master just and true.'
