School in undercroft. Rather plain Early English style, parapet gabled west end having large kneelers to central part; pointed triplet window above moulded pointed doorway approached by wide flight of stone steps. Single lancet window to each aisle. Buttressed 7-bay sides, diagonal buttresses at corners. Plain lancet to each bay with square headed window to undercroft. Moulded pointed chancel arch with triple attached jamb shafts. Panelled lobby with gallery over at north end, gallery front having some openwork carved tracery. South (liturgical east) chancel window has good stained glass, probably by Henry Payne. Plain iron railings run along roadside to west, gateway having panelled stone octagonal piers with moulded caps; contemporary iron gates. Church built when ecclesiastical parish of Minchinhampton sub-divided. (N.M. Herbert, 'Minchinhampton' in V.C.H. Glos xi, 1976. pp 184- 207; and D. Verey, Gloucestershire: The Cotswolds, 1979)
