Detached house. c1805. Ashlar and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; Welsh slate roof. Three-storey central stair hall plan; Two-storey with attic rear wing, probably incorporating earlier small house. South front: fenestration 1:1:1. Central windows to middle and upper floor both tripartite sashes with fluted square columns and paterae. Otherwise sashes in plain openings, 12-pane to ground and middle floor, six-pane to upper floor. Central doorway with detached columns and fluted capitals, panelled entablature projecting forward. Round arched door opening with double glazed doors and decorative fanlight. Plain plinth and upper floor level bands. Modillion cornice with low parapet. Sides: two-window sash fenestration as to front. East-facing rear wing has mixed sash fenestration in segmental arched surrounds. Doorway with flat hood on brackets and six-panel fielded door. Single eaves-mounted dormer.
Interior: entrance hall separated from staircase by arcade with detached columns and fine opposed doorcases to principal rooms. Curved staircase with stick balusters and swept handrail lit by oval lantern. One room has unusual corner pilasters and recent hand-painted wallpaper. Coach house to north east (q.v.), garden wall with steps and sundial to west (q.v.) and entrance gateway (q.v.) all in landscaped gardens.
