Detached house. Dated HEC 1704; extended mid-late C18. Random rubble limestone; rendered brick and ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; rear wing forms L-plan. South front: 2-window fenestration to ground floor, both 2-light chamfered mullioned casements with hood moulds, hood to right window extended over dated stone door lintel; C20 glazed door. Upper floor 2-light to right. Central gabled roof dormer with C20 casement. East side: gable end of original house to left with off-centre 2-light ground floor casement; 3-light casement to rear wing, both with hood moulds. Interior not inspected. Possibly the oldest house in this largely C18 squatter settlement. (M.A. Rudd, Historical Records of Bisley with Lypiatt, 1937).
