5/181 Granary and cartshed approximately 30m west of main range of farm buildings at Wishanger Farm
GV II
Granary and cartshed. c1858 for Julius Partridge. Coursed rubble limestone, timber weatherboarding; Welsh slate roof. Rectangular with granary above 3-bay east-facing cartshed. Cartshed stone piers have chamfered bases and bold corbel-shaped tops supporting timber lintel. Elevation to east is weatherboarded with louvred vent openings and small casement in central full gable. Single Tudor arched casement in west gable. Stone steps to central Tudor arched loft doorway in south gable end; Tudor arched casement above with hood. Parapet gabled north end. Forms part of important planned farm building group with main range to east, barn to north (q.v.). (W.J. Sheils, 'Miserden' in V.C.H. Glos. xi, 1976, pp 47-56)
