Details
STANDISH OXLYNCH LANE SO 80 NW 7/243 Roadway Farm II Former farmhouse, detached. Probably late C18/early C19, possibly on an older core. Coursed stone with large flush quoins, stone slate roof, ashlar end stacks with moulded cornice. Single long range, 2 storeys and attic, with small C20 additions to both ends. East entrance front has 2 windows, 2-light stone mullions with square hoodmould, central mullion missing; 2-light wood casements flank C20 raking porch in centre of ground floor; 3 hipped dormers with partly leaded casements. Probable original main front to west has 4 windows, 2/2/1/3-light stone mullions with square hoodmould, continuous over 2-lights. Ground floor has similar with chamfered stone doorway with very large flush lintel between 2-light and single light with continuous hoodmould extending beyond single light. Basement to right has two 2-light with continuous hoodmould. Interior has been modernised but retains chamfered beams.
