3/80 Monument to William Lane in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary, c9m south-west of tower

GV II

Chest tomb to William Lane, died 1844 and Ann his wife, died 1825. Sandstone. Rectangular plinth with moulded top. Raised oval inscription plaques either side with palm leaf fronds over. Urn under weeping lopped tree at west end. Draped urn at east end. Capping with squared-off margin.
