2/29 Court Cottages II

Semi-detached estate house. Dated and initialled RJY (John Yorke) 1899 on plastered panel (between ground and first floor of 2-storey bay window), extended C20. Architect possibly Philip Webb. Brick, rendered on first floor, timber-framed, 2-storey bay window, red tile roof, brick stacks. Rectangular plan. C20 single storey extension at rear not of special interest. Pair of part-glazed 3 panelled doors, centre front under lean-to roof, 2-storey timber- framed bay window left, lit by paired 2-light casements at front. Four-light casement to first floor above. Brick band between ground and first floors. Gablet roof with tall stacks with round- headed arched recesses opposite gablets. Interior not inspected.
