Large house, was subdivided. Probably 1880's. Limestone ashlar, plinth, moulded string at first floor level, concrete tile roof. A large dwelling in Victorian Tudor style, with 3 gables to street, in two distinctive parts and with deep wing to back. Left Section in 2 gables with quatrefoil-pierced barge boards, 1½ storeys, 2-windowed, 2-light chamfered mullion casements under stopped drip, over a large carriage entrance with 4-centred door, left and 4-light mullioned casement with king-mullion with transome and under stopped drip; right half with coped-gable, small louvred lancet over 2+2 cusped lancets and 3-light casement with transome, all these set flush, and a single opening, formerly a door. To left of facade is ashlar boundary wall linking, left to No 16 (not listed) about 2.5in high and with plank door in 4-centre arch.
