13/159 Barn c30m south-west of Puckrup Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. Early-mid C19. Brick with a red tile roof. Rectangular plan to main body with a projecting porch on the east side. Open- fronted lean-to stores either side of porch. Double plank doors within a segmental-headed surround with gable over to porch. Ventilation holes in walls either side of porch. Two-bay open- fronted lean-tos with hipped roofs either side of the projecting porch. Pitching windows with shutters and diamond-shaped ventilation panels in the gable ends. Low double sheet metal doors at centre of the rear wall, weatherboarding above the doors, all within a high segmental-headed surround with gable over as on the east side. Blind round-headed arches either side of the doorway. Ventilation holes with the blind arches. Owl/ventilation holes with rubbed brick surrounds to the gables over double doorways and at gable ends. Interior not accessible. Building forms an important element within a farmyard group.
