Detached house. Late C18 and C17. Incised render. Red tile roof with brick stacks. C17 square-panelled timber-framed cottage (now used as store) attached to house via a brick wall at the rear with a red tile roof and brick stacks. Rectangular plan to main house with a later extension at right gable end extending back rear right. Two-storey 4-windowed facade (including single bay extension to right of main body). Two 16-pane sashes with shutters to the left-hand bay. Single 16-pane sash to the first floor of the right-hand bay. Twin 8-pane sashes to the rectangular bay below. Part-glazed panelled door with glazing bars at centre of the facade with fluted pilasters either side and a deep moulded frieze above. Six small rectangular terracotta reliefs depicting signs of the zodiac above. Twelve-pane sash with shutters above. Two small pointed windows with 'Gothic' glazing bars to first floor flanking a larger rectangular window with a transom and 'Gothic' glazing bars. Late C18-early C19 fielded 6-panel door to the ground floor. Brick dentils at eaves at rear. Cast-iron railing with double cast-iron gate along the house front. Interior; staircase with stick balusters. House is linked to timber-framed cottage via a red brick wall with a pointed arched entrance. Cottage; rectangular in plan. Two plank doors. Original roof trusses with a curving tie beam, king post and raking struts.
