Barn. Early-mid C18. Left-hand bay square-panelled timber framing partly clad in weatherboarding partly in brick, barn otherwise coursed squared and dressed limestone. Concrete tile roof. Rectangular plan. Double plank doors to large round-headed arch at centre of south side, smaller double-doored opening in wall opposite. Ventilation slits in sides, now blocked with brick. Double-chamfered ventilation slit in right gable end. Double- chamfered owl hole with pigeon holes above towards apex of right- hand gable end. Flat coping and weathercock (not original) also at right gable end. Double-doors to square-panelled timber-framed extension with lower roofline at left gable end. Interior; 5 bays with original roof trusses comprising collar and tie beams with almost vertical struts. Double through purlins. Carpenter's marks. Mortice holes indicate some timbers may be reused.
