C18 externally, but of earlier origin. Symmetrical north (entrance) front of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows. Red tile roof, hipped at each end, full moulded cornice, which rises in the centre as a pediment enclosing an oval window. Rendered walling, with 4 pilasters having entablature mouldings at the top, the cornice mouldings breakings forward in the eaves. First floor band, plinth, pilaster base, stone cills. Victorian sashes in exposed frames, with original sash above the porch. Porch has a doorway flanked by windows between pilasters, the Doric (dentil) order breaking forward from the inner pilasters to 2 columns. Modern glazed door and porch sides. The east elevation is also symmetrical, of 1.3.1 windows, the centre with pediment gable projecting slightly forward and having deep ground floor windows and a central French door. At the north side there is a large solid bay with curved corners, sash windows, and moulded parapet. The rear has 3 gables, the eastermost of long projection. This is the earliest part of the house and contains some old leaded casements.
