GV II C16, C19 and C20. 2-storeyed timber-framed structure with wide front. Small old wing at rear partly engulfed by C19 larger wing at south end which embodies a kiln superstructure. Small rear wing at north end is modern. 5-2 windows to front. Red tile roof, ½-hipped at south end above gable tile-hung in decora- tive patterns to 1st floor level. Half hipped front gable at the north side; shafted stack. Front wall is in close-studding, with jettied frame on curved brackets. North side (below gable) has later wall in line with overhang; exposed frame in small old rear extensions. Brick infill is herringbone on front, brick infill and walling elsewhere. Modern leaded casements and old-style modern door. The front is considerably masked by an ancient wistaria creeper.
