Early C18. Symmetrical front (north-east) of 2 storeys and attic (and cellar), 1:1:1 windows. Hipped tile roof, 3 hipped roofed dormers with sashes, modillion cornice, raised as a pediment above the slightly projecting centrepiece. Red brick walling in Flemish bond with blue headers, rubbed arched to Venetian lights on each side (with cambered centre-heads), blue headers within the pediment and as flush panels on each side of the centrepiece. Sashes in exposed frames, many original but some Victorian. The doorway has a large moulded hood with panelled soffit, on carved brackets above narrow panelled pilasters, moulded architrave, 8-panelled (2 top glazed) door, on stone steps. The north side has a later plain extension with a parapet, the south end is tile-hung, the rear has later flat roofing covering the part raised from one to 2 storeys. Within, there is an original staircase, dado panelling, a corner cupboard, some fireplace surrounds and many panelled doors in architrave frames. The Sun Insurance lead sign within the pediment has the number 756879 and was issued on 10 December 1803.
