Details
WINCHESTER ROAD 1. 1501 No 10 SU 7423 3/155 II 2. Circa 1840. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Moderately low pitched, hipped roof, renewed in modern pantiles. Walls of flush flints, galleted with flint chips. Alternating brick quoins and door and window jambs, now painted white, as are gauged brick window arches. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars. 2 steps to door of 2 flat and 4 fielded panels, with reeded cornice head and patterned rectangular fanlight, in panelled reveal. Reeded architrave with paterae at angles. Cornice hood, with acorn pattern, supported on 2 pairs of curved wood brackets and 1 pair of wrought iron brackets.
