II
Cottage and attached outbuilding. Early C18, altered. Rendered cob on brick plinth with timber-framed gables; outbuilding timber-framed with weather-board cladding. Thatched roof. One storey with attic, 2 bays, with one-bay outbuild- ing attached at right end. Front (north) elevation: at right corner an exposed wall post with brace to eaves. Board door in C20 pent porch with part-glazed door and Welsh slate roof. 4-pane casement window to left; 2-light, small-pane, metal casement window to right, with 2-light, diamond-leaded, casement window above, set above eaves. Roof half-hipped on left, hipped on right and covering also the attached outbuilding. Brick stack at right end. Rear: gabled porch with board door and side-lights to right bay; 4-pane casement to right; 2-light small-pane casement to left. Strap-hinged board door to outbuilding. Left return: 3 raked buttresses; square-panelled timber-framing to gable and 4-pane window. INTERIOR: spine-beam with broad chamfer; ledged and boarded doors; C19 fireplace with range and stair cupboard beside.
