BROUGHTON PAYNES LANE SU 3033 10/31 Quorn Cottage II Cottage. C17, refronted C18. Timber-frame core encased in brick, weatherboarded store, thatched roof. 1 1/2 storey, 3 bay with outshot store to left. C19 brick and tile gabled porch with planked door at left of centre bay. 2 or 3-light segmental head casements with immediately left of porch similar window reduced to single light. In outshot C20 3-light window. Above either side of door 3-light casement in eyebrow dormers. Roof half-hipped to right and hipped and swept-down to left. Large ridge stack.
