8/13 Huntingford Cottage 31/07/63 GV II

House. C16, C17, and early C19. Mixed walling materials, and a tile roof. Late medieval timber-framed hall, with a 2 storeyed cross wing at the east end, stack at the junction (replacing a smoke bay)?, with a C17 extension at the west end;front (north) of 2 storeys, 1.3 windows. Hipped roof, ½-hipped to cross wing; shafted stack. Exposed massive framing, the upper infill mainly of painted brick and the lower of stone, the cross-wing being roughcast and the west side of stonework. Early C19 casements. Late C19 gabled brick porch, with 4-panelled door. The east elevation (cross-wing) is completely framed, the south framed mainly in the upper part, with altered ground floor. Attached to the west end by a small outshot is a single storeyed service building, of stone, with a hipped tile roof.
