GV II

2 cottages, in one block. C18. Walls of stone and brick, with a tile roof. The original part is a north/south block facing east, with wings extending west- wards at each end, the north being higher and longer (a separate dwelling) and the south lower. The east elevavation is 2 storeys, 2.1 windows. Plain roof with shafted stack, the higher north-side gable being tile-hung (with scalloped bands) for the most part. Walls of English bond, with plinth, the north gable and the adjoining wall of the other part being of coursed chalkstone with brick quoins. Casements. Plain boarded door. The long north elevation, of 4 windows is tile-hung to the lst floor, with stone ground floor, casements, and plain door, its west end is a short C20 extension, in style. The other elevations have few features, and are of English bond, with the exposed rear-wall of the main part being tile-hung.
