5/34 Brocas Farmhouse. ( Formerly listed as 31/07/63 Brockhurst Farmhouse.)

House. Early C18, and early C20. Brick walls and tiled roof. Queen Anne house, restored at the rear and above eaves level; symmetrical front (south-west) of 2 storeys and attic, 2.1.2 windows. Roof is gabled at each end (with tile-hanging and attic windows), hipped above rearward extensions, with 2 gabled dormers to the front and south-east sides; fully-moulded eaves cornice, with simpler pediment above the slightly-projecting centrepieces. Walls of Flemish bond, rubbed flat arches, moulded 1st floor band (omitted in the centre), plinth. Sashes in exposed frames. Doorway with moulded canopy on carved brackets, narrow panelled pilasters with bracket caps, key to the plain architrave, 8-panelled (2 top glazed) door, on 2 stone steps. Inside, there is a staircase, with dado panelling.
