GV II
Small house. Mid C18. Walls of roughcast and painted brick; steep slate roof. Symmetrical front (west) of 2 storeys, 2 windows. Plain roof with catslide at rear, exposed framing in the north gable. Plain walls. Old ground-floor sashes, late C19 casements to the 1st floor. Plain doorway, with an early C20 oak door, and a high shallow canopy on wrought-iron brackets. The attached stack on the north gable has a stone plaque inscribed "Jn (Jonathon) Bolen, Bentworth 1756". There is a single-storeyed service extension at the south end, with block walls and corrugated asbestos roof.
