HIGH STREET 1. 5231 (East Side) Fareham Nos 52 and 53 SU 5806 SW 1/28 II GV 2. C18 houses refronted with stucco on the ground floor and with cement above, now all painted white. Tiled roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows in all. Sashes with glazing bars, bottom windows with margin lights. 6 panelled doors, top 2 of No 52 now glazed. Bracketed labels above. All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street with the listed street lamps form a group, together with Nos land 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No 45, High Street is of local interest).
