BEAULIEU PALACE LANE (OFF) SU 3802/3902 B3054 17/22 Abbey Gate Cottage 8.10.59 GV II Row of 3 cottages, now one. C18 and C19, restored C20. Brick, old plain tile roof. Brick, old plain and fishscale tile roof. 1 1/2storey, 3 bay cottage with angled 2 bay link to 2 storey, 2 bay part, wings to rear. Front has 1 storey part to LH. French windows to centre and RH bays. 3-light segmental-head casement in LH bay and 2-light casement in RH bay. To RH 1st bay of angled part has 2-light bowed window on angle and high set small window in next bay. Above all but this bay 2-light casement in hip-roofed dormer. On RH end 2 storey part has two 2-light segmental-head casements and 1/2 glazed door in segmental head opening. On 1st floor long 6-light. Stack at RH end and ridge stack over centre of 1½ storey range. Stack behind ridge of 2 storey part.
